If you stop by my site instead of reading this through Google Reader or your crazy RSS-to-email bash script (I’m talking to you, Patrick), you’ll be able to see my fancy new design.

The biggest change is the header image where I’ve done away with the nothing that was there before and replaced it with some sexy Tengwar Quenya fonts and a lovely moon.

I tweaked the rest of the design, too. This probably isn’t the final rendering as there’s still more I’d like to do, but this is definitely sufficient for today.

I’ve upgraded to the newest version of Wordpress (2.3.3, not quite ready for 2.5 beta). 2.3 had some vulnerabilities so I’m doing the smart thing and closing out some of the holes. Even 2.3.3 has been reportedly having some issues recently and I hope Wordpress will fix the problems and not just ignore the issue in favor of finishing 2.5. Yeah, I want 2.5, but I want a stable version of the platform I’m currently on.

If you noticed the site had a bit of downtime earlier today, this would be why. I needed to update it as soon as possible, so I did.

From October 28, 2007, to November 21, 2007, my blog has received 2,001 Total Views with the Best Day Ever being 324 Total Views on October 29, 2007. I need to write more Wordpress plugins like MyTwitter. And then start advertising! Yeah, that’s the way to improve visitor loyalty!
