Two Hundred Days
Posted by Erundur Anwamehtar on July 19th, 2007, at 2:45pm

Yes, that’s right, it’s been two hundred days. In celebration, I will drink some cranberry juice. Perhaps some lemonade. Maybe a bit of water.

Ah, I have a better idea. I’ll drink some Seagram’s.

No, I meant the Ginger Ale.

My interview has been rescheduled for next Monday.

Update: Okay, strike that, it’s been rescheduled again for next Tuesday.

Finally, Lunch is Mine!

Waiting patiently, I finally had a random invitation to lunch after church! Yes! The family is pretty nice and considering I’ve now spent Christmas, Easter, and Nick’s 18th birthday with them… well, it’s kinda nice to have a family here to hang out with. It’s a big family, too, consisting of Matt and his wife Heather, Matt’s brother Nick, and Matt & Nick’s parents. Oh, and don’t forget the babies. Babies are good for many things: drooling and other bodily functions, crying, but more importantly they’re also cute when they giggle and make for excellent objects to poke and tickle.

I also went and saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix yesterday. I’d say they had to rush it at least as much as the fourth book to fit everything in, but they did the best they could considering movies can’t be six hours long. I recently preordered book #7 and am awaiting its arrival on Saturday. If UPS dares to deliver the book later than when I leave for work… DOOM!

Said the Joker to the Thief

The interview will be rescheduled. Apparently they had an internal conflict. Oh well.

On Thursday I had an incredibly productive day. I sorted through several months of paperwork, filled out and sent in a few forms, contacted my bank about a couple of things, and checked on the re-titling process of my car. I also managed to get my haircut, buy a new bookshelf and groceries, assemble the bookshelf, and rearrange my room. I’ll show you pictures at some point.

Dating can be tricky. I’ve had two dates w/ the current girl, but things can get complicated quickly. When the communication is sporadic it can be hard to know where things are going much less try to direct the course of events.

I read the Book of James this morning. It’s got some good content.

“What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” - James 4:14

Admit it

It would be nice to have a priest to confess to. When things go wrong and mistakes are made, it’s easy to look to other people for an outlet. A venting session. The problem with humanity is often people will not disagree with the decision and the mistake in the first place. I’m glad I have friends who will tell me the truth when I make mistakes. Now I just need to go talk to God about it and I might be able to move on.

Moving on is harder when you’ve got the burden of an additional person to factor into the decision.
