Wrong answer: Because I hate talking to people. I want to live in Japan.
Right answer: Because I am looking to progress in my career path and see This Place as a step along the path with many subsequent opportunities.
I ended the relationship today. No “it’s not you it’s me.” No excuses. Just honesty about no future. Mistakes have been made, and now I’m walking away. I’m trying hard not to feel sad, but I am.

I had breakfast at 12:30am tonight. Went to Shari’s and grabbed some Traditional Eggs Benedict and a bastardized raspberry lemonade. Martin got pie.
The colossal mistake I made tonight did not involve eating breakfast after midnight. I didn’t think to go to a midnight release of the new Harry Potter book. Instead, while others are losing sleep reading Harry Potter, I have only Rainbow Six to keep me company until Amazon (via UPS) brings me my book tomorrow. Will it be worth waiting? Hell yes, but I’d rather have a full stomach and the book now.
If only I were “sick” tomorrow. This is where standards of workmanship become detrimental to my literary longings.
Lolcats is a bizarre internet phenomenon.
For example:
I find it amusing that our oldskool encyclopedias would never include information about such a strange phenomenon as an lolcat, but Wikipedia has an lolcat page. Are memes being created faster or did ye encyclopaedias of olde show better judgment regarding what to include?
