Tyler says: “Behold the glory of the frozen wasteland also known as the Arctic!” He also advises that, “sunlight really jacks you up.” Approaching the summer solstice, the sun doesn’t like to leave Alaska alone. Hence, Tyler is up there doing crazy research and stuff.

The Abominable Tyler!: He really does exist, even in the Alaskan Arctic at remote research facilities.

Who knew that Alaska was so pretty? Tyler if you read this, know that I miss having you around. You still need to cook for us gals sometime!
Where is the before picture of the bear? Did you really have to kill it Tyler? Did you use your bare hands?
Jenny, I would say the untouched portion of Alaska is beautiful. I’ve got a few more pictures that I’ll have to send to Cal. Come over anytime, just be warned that I haven’t restocked my fridge yet.
Justin, I was having a hard time wielding my Bowie knife and the camera while I was stalking the bear. In my triumph over the beast, I took a large bite out of its liver and quickly succumbed to the effects of hypervitaminosis A. After 3 days of stumbling around blindly, my sight returned only so I could find out some native had claimed the kill. Dang, so much for my souvenir.
Look we got Tyler to post on Cals blog to people other than Cal. What a feat!
