I got Schooled for Years and Years
Posted by on July 29th, 2005, at 8:23pm

I got schooled for years and years, and it looks as if I may be able to return to the land of my schooling at a near point in the future. Looking at my work schedule, I may be able to pull off a 4-day Labor Day weekend return to The Land of My Schooling. So I’m excited about this ’cause I’d like to see some of the people who got schooled with me and by me (*cough cough*). Mi amigos, mis hermanos (my friends, my brothers [and sisters])!

So let’s all get together and have one big, giant hug! Hahaha! Okay, instead of a hug let’s have a big party and if you haven’t moved away to a far distant land like Greenland or Iowa, you should definitely come. Who’s hosting?

Alright, it’s Friday night, and I’m going to Borders to revel in the squalor of materialism. (Got paid this week, y’know.) Latez!

Girls, All I Really Want Is…

From Harry Potter #4:

“Why do they have to move in packs?” Harry asked Ron as a dozen or so girls walked past them, sniggering and staring at Harry. “How’re you supposed to get one on their own to ask them (to the dance)?”

“Lasso one?” Ron suggested.

Ah yes, a difficult question for any 14 year old wizzard; a difficult question for any 23 year old Muggle.

I’ve been reading a lot lately. And it’s good stuff. And I’m going to go back to it. I merely thought I’d let you all know I’m still here and thinking about the same old things. G’day!

Live Like You Were Dying
Posted by on July 22nd, 2005, at 7:57pm

Do you live like you’re dying? ‘Cause honestly, if you really think about it, we’re all dying. Only difference is some of us are dying faster or slower than others.

I want to go out with an explosion.

Not now though. Much, much later. Like dynamite at the end of a long fuse. Only problem is I don’t get to determine the fuse’s length.

Update: Well, I definitely lived tonight. Myself and a friend went out to The Street tonight and had a good time. We took on alias names, but unfortunately we never got to use them ’cause I never had opportunity to woo any ladies. At least not in areas where the music wasn’t deafeningly loud and the ladies could hear any verbal attempts to woo. All the other guys were going for the pelvis-grinding sort, and that’s not the kind of thing I’m skilled at. Alas, maybe with more “living” I shall perfect my skills even in such circumstances.

If I want.
