I’m testing the Notifier. Ignore this post. Please. Because I’m testing it. Essentially, I’m trying to set this up to notify someone by email whenever I put up a new post.
I’ve gotten most aspects of the lyrics database working again other than the Search page which is still, for some reason, broken.
My bro Jesse turned 21 today. Woohee. Isaac’s the only one who can’t drink alcohol now. A bit of advice if you ever order alcohol at Chili’s: don’t underestimate the margaritas.
I have to go back to Blockbuster to return the game I bought Jesse ’cause I bought the wrong one for the wrong system. Really, it shouldn’t be that difficult, but I was trying to hurry. It’d help a lot of I had any clue about happenings in the world of videogames these days. I mean seriously, I’ve been playing Final Fantasy V recently and that game first released in 1992. Give me another decade and I’ll start playing PS2 games. Ok, probably less than that because I’ll want to get to FFX and FFX-2 at some point, but I figure I’ve still got V, VI, VII, and VIII to finish and then I can always buy I, II, III, and IX before I have to get a new game system. If you know anything about RPG’s, they take _foeva_ to play and beat.
One thing I’ve noticed about many of my recent jobs is they provide me many more examples of bad leadership than they do of good leadership. Jarred essentially quit about a week ago. Nobody was scheduled to work today or tomorrow. I went in briefly and helped the store get ahold of our district manager and apparently he’s gonna get some people to work. Seriously though, should’ve been figured out before Saturday.
My bro Jesse got a new Ibanez acoustic guitar for his birthday. He seemed excited about it. He’s recently joined a Metal band who he plays guitar for and he says the’ll be recording their first song in a week. If his band ever gets good or online, I’ll be sure to let you know and hookup some linkage.
Update: I went and bought the correct game for Jesse and he was happy.
