I don’t have to deal with Polaroid film at work, but just about everything else. Well, actually, there’s a lot of film we don’t deal with, but most typical color 35 mm film and Advantix/APS we handle. We also do reprints from negatives or prints from digital. Now the tough part is when you get to the end of the day, the clock is nearing six PM, the photo center closes at seven, but there’s still a ton to do. IN order to avoid being backed up all day the next day, I try to get done as much as I can before I leave. Tonight, once again, this involved staying till 8PM working on some reprints and digital photos then adding more chemicals to the machine.

Grrrr….. I’m trying to get some stress relief here. I don’t think it’s working. Oh, iTunes stopped playing.

“We’ll all float on alright… we’ll all float on alright.”

Lunch time is my favorite part of the workday. I get a half hour break from the insane busyness and generally spend it eating food, reading the Bible, and praying. It helps with the rest of the day. Honestly, though, I think things will go better once I’ve had a bit more experience and am able to streamline and multitask more. Maybe then huge piles of film won’t seem quite so daunting.

Keep praying that I’ll get the Boulder job.
