Wow. The busyness is going to set in quickly here. The last two days or so I’ve had ample time to see friends and work on miscellaneous such as unpacking, but I’ve also had a fair amount of meetings for UNL Navs. This year I’m on the Freshman Connection team which reaches out to freshman on campus and gets them involved with other freshman with the ultimate goal of bringing glory to God by encouraging them to seek a deeper relationship with him.
It’s been great seeing friends. I saw most of them this summer, but there’s always “fringe” friends who you enjoy seeing and talking to but don’t talk with or see as much.
Pray for me as this semester gets started. Some areas of my life unraveled this summer and need stitching. It’s also going to be hard to make the time and have the energy I need to be around people and doing schoolwork other projects. College so far has been a slide because I’ve never had enough extracurricular work that procrastination on schoolwork would destroy my grades and sleep. This year, it’s possible.
Aside from the telephone survey job, I’ve got another contracted job possibility that looks tempting doing web page design. I’m hoping it works out as well as it appears it could.
