The Pirate

Boundless has an article on the moral issues of piracy (via A Blog Apart).

“Theft is taking a person’s property against his rational will. It simply doesn’t matter that if you hadn’t stolen, you wouldn’t have purchased either. The thing was his, and you took it without his consent.”

“The next time someone calls you a thief, don’t bother to be offended. It’s merely what you are.”

I enjoy the second quote a lot. Seriously though, take a look. It’s got some good arguments.

I arrived home safely today. Caffeine helped, as usual. I had a quick nap at a gas station and in the grass at a rest stop, too. Nothing like laying on green grass in a tree’s shade while listening to cars rush by at 75-80 mph.

Mark and Mark are both in town so I’ll probably hang out with them tonight after having dinner with my family. I’m excited. It’s been several months since I’ve seen either of them.

I’m also hoping the time at home will let me recover from some of the stresses and struggles I’ve been having during the last few weeks. The school year starts again in slightly less than two weeks. Yikes!
