Jennifer, if you’re using the Tengwar Transcriber, probably the easiest things to do are the following:

1. Type your Elvish name (Nerwin Mithrandir) into the input box.
2. Change output format to PNG. This will output an image file (in PNG format). You can then save this file to your computer.
3. Leave the other options to there defaults. (You can use the Tengwar or HTML output formats if you have the Tengwar fonts installed on your computer.)
4. That should be all you need.

Hi..I was having some trouble getting the Tengwar translator to work..i guess i dont have the right setting for it..i know my elf name (Nerwin Mithrandír) and i wanted to get it in the script..can you help me or tell me what to do to get the translator to show me the characters (it comes up as #’s and boxes and such..)
