I’m sitting in the Union once again, updating this lovely little weblog of mine. This time I’m sitting in a chair in the lab though.
Anyway… I’ve got a few opportunities that could perhaps, possibly, even plausibly work out. I’ve got an interview at Circuit City in an hour and a half. On Monday they didn’t have any open positions. Today they do. (w00t!) I’ve also turned in some applications at a few other places. Office Depot has some open positions, but the manager was at lunch when I dropped them off.
Yesterday I also sat around thinking up what sort of ideas I had for internet/music companies. I’ve got an idea cooked up, but it’s difficult and will take a lot of research and work on my part to see it ever leave the conceptual stage and happen.
I’ve read some pretty amazing things the past few days in some books I’ve been reading. I wish I could just throw them on here for you, but they’re out of my reach at the moment. Basically, John Piper, C.S. Lewis, and Lee Strobel all have some pretty interesting stuff to say. I recommend their works to anyone. (Not flawless, of course, but they base their works on truth as well as any living person can.)
I will depart now with some words of wisdom from my brother, Isaac: “Perfection is my only flaw.” And there you have it. *cough*
