As an odd change of pace, I’ve been moderately busy this week. Not with the sort of schoolwork that can drag a person down, but with meaningful and enjoyable activities.
Tuesday night I had dinner with one of the families from the church I attend. It was awesome getting to eat home-cooked food, do some laundry, play a game, and talk. A nice change of pace from typical dorm life.
Today I went to LESTER (student leadership team) just like usual. After that, I had dinner over at Arby’s with Chase, Webb, Pat, and Double-J. Shortly after that, I went to church and attended an informational membership meeting. After that I got back here to my dorm and partook in some covert operations (i.e., I’ll tell you once the info has been declassified). And now I have every intention of curling up and reading a good book.
