It’s snowing today. *shiivvver*
Just got back from the LESTER retreat (student leadership team for Navigators). These retreats are always draining for me, both spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I’m tired because of staying up way late playing cards and talking to a few of the guys on Sunday night. It was also a convicting experience where God showed me some areas and things in my life that he can continue to change. I was also encouraged a lot by the sharing and words of everybody. Some of my closest friends are all currently involved in LESTER as well and they’re just awesome people.
School this week isn’t looking terrible, although I’ve got a few Japanese assignments that will take time and a few other things to do. I saw my conversation partner, Dong Li (Chinese), at church on Sunday and I’m going to meet with him again on Thursday to hang out and talk. He has a wife named Catherine.

I’m down to 12 credits this semester. I wasn’t able to get into one course I wanted, so I’m taking a Composition course through Independent Study. This means, as of now, my semester schedule is going to be pretty easy. I should find a job or something. If nothing else, I’ll have a lot more time to work on my extracurricular activities such as Navs. I’ve also got grand aspirations for a lyrics website of some sort (previously discussed a bit here) and running for student body president.
Had a good time hanging out with some friends this afternoon and evening and night. Hung out with Jenny and Tracy for dinner then we went down for some chillin’ with the Phillin’. It was fun to get to hang out and get caught up on talk and also just to joke around and laugh. So… yeah. Good times.
My brother will find out by Friday if he gets one of the jobs he applied for. He went to CSU for a semester and now he’s looking for a job.
… and all that. Woohoo. Finished unpacking. Now… to find something to do. I could go invade Matt’s room, but perhaps I will search around and look for other victims of harassment… errr… I mean friends that are back already. =) Perhaps I’ll check my mail, too.
