MxPx - Do Your Feet Hurt

Can I call you sweetheart or even baby doll?
If I had your number, you’d be getting a phone call
can I leave you a message on your machine?
Letting you know that you’re the bomb
and you blew up on me

MXPX - Do Your Feet Hurt

Personal Comments:
Kabooooom! Kaboooooooooom! Ouch. Then again, there are worse ways to die. If (when) I find a woman, she’s gonna be a total fox so if she did fall from heaven, she’ll definitely land on her feet. Oh yeah.

Mid-Sunday

I’m back in my dorm. The missions conference thingy went well. I guess the things I said made some coherent sense. I spoke about 5 minutes in front of the whole church group that was there, then about three minutes later on with only the kids. It’s an interesting church and a lot different from the ones I’ve been to before. It’s probably typical of a rural Nebraska church, but my friends would probably be able to let you know that better then I would.

I’ve got a test on Monday and Tuesday, so I need to study a lot today.

The Bards

The Brobdingnagian Bards are an interesting little celtic and medeavil music group. They’ve got a lot of cool songs they perform including Whiskey in the Jar, Greensleeves, Scarborough Faire, If I Had A Million Ducats (a parody of the Bare Naked Ladies song), and some of their own original songs. Many of their songs are free for download at MP3.com. Check it out.

Destination: Aurora

Yo! I’m heading out to Aurora (Nebraska) today. A Navigator I know named Brandon needs a college student who has been on a missions trip to help him speak at a church tonight to middle- and high-school aged kids. I’ll be talking a bit about my experience in Japan this summer and also sharing my personal testimony. (A testimony of this sort is the story of how a person became a Christian or had their faith take on new meaning and significance at some point during their life.) Please pray that I’ll be able to affectively speak to this age level and that God would use this conference to help give these kids (and everyone else there including me) new energy and excitement in their relationships with God and also a desire to help with missions work in the community and around the world.

I’ll be leaving in a couple hours and will make it back to the dorm sometime on Sunday.
